White/Gold Summer by travelstylishly featuring a zipper dress
Last weekend I walked past the Ralph Lauren window on Rodeo Drive and virtually all of the manikin were dressed in white. It was striking and made me want to run in and buy every ensemble. Unfortunately, wearing white when you have two children under 10 is not really an option. I ruined a brand new dress, the first time I wore it when my kids were small. This Spring, I have been carefully adding white back into my wardrobe after a 6 year hiatus. I love the crisp look of this Alaia dress. Would go perfect with this tote.
As I mentioned, I am adding white back into my wardrobe and picked up some white eyelet shorts this weekend from Chloe.
White shirts never go out of style so I am always popping into Anne Fontaine in Beverly Hills. They are currently on sale and I bought a fabulous white low slung belt and white linen pants. This is actually probably my favorite store in all of Beverly Hills. I love their customer service – All of the sales people know my name and call me to let me know when new inventory arrives or when something I have been coveting goes on sale. Most of the sales women are French so they have interesting ideas about how to combine items but my favorite is Marina. Marina is always dressed in something from the store and has thrown it together in a way that only a gorgeous chic French woman can do. I often end up buying what she is wearing. I only wish I could bring her to my house to go through my closet and suggest outfit combinations.
If your kids are young and you are worried about destroying your new white purchases, you could try an accessory. I am loving my white sunglasses. Below are a great trendy and inexpensive pair from AE.
