Finally found a workout that gives my abs some definition, Jackie Warner Xtreme Crunch Free Abs.  I love this workout because I have seen dramatic results very quickly (will post photos when swim season starts).   The dvd consists of 2 fifteen-minute crunch free workouts.  The first is mostly standing and has cardio and arm elements.  The second is mostly floor and core work.   Jackie has a very nice pace and is motivational.  There are two other people doing the workout and one modifies each move.   I do this workout 3 times a week and saw results within 2 weeks. 

This is a fantastic workout for getting rid of the dreaded post baby muffin top.  My figure is straight up and down so fighting a muffin top has been a life long challenge.  This work out does wonders.  I would also recommend the Physique 57 dvds Thighs and Seat – believe it or not, I feel my obliques a lot when I am doing the workout. 

I have hundreds of exercise dvds and the best advice I can give for fighting muffin tops is to do lots of planks and side planks.  I spent years doing sit ups – I even tried the Brittney Spears 1000 sit ups a day and did not see results until I started working on low back and obliques.  Basically, if you want sexy abs, you must have a sexy back side as well.   As such, it is important to include hamstring and glut exercises – for this I would suggest the Brazillian Butt Lift work out which can be purchased through Beach Body.
