I am a strong believer in revamping your workout wear every couple of years.  Not only do styles change but your body probably has too.  Something that looked smokin’ before baby is not likely so flattering anymore.  Recently I have been on a search for exercise clothing that goes beyond Lulu and found a really innovative brand, StyleFirmLA.   StyleFirm clothing is meant to help you look better before you even hit the gym.   StyleFirm clothing is made with built in shapewear so your body is elongated and looks slimmer. 

You can find the firming clothing made by this LA based company at Blissworld or on the company’s own site.  www.stylefirmclothing.com.   These clothes are a great option if you are post baby and somewhat self-conscious about lumps and bumps that did not exist pre-baby.  StyleFirm clothing has a shapewear element that will prevent you from looking frumpy in your spandex.  I love the jacket which made my arms look really skinny – is very comfortable and made with a nice fabric.   Below are images of my friend wearing the bootcut pants and jacket.   She loves the way the pants lift and shape her bottom.  The company does a beautiful job packaging the clothing and they look really special when they arrive and that is why I plan to buy these for friends who are trying to get back into shape.

For sizing – small pants and jackets fit size 4-6.  Unfortunately, the boot cut pants were too long for me but looked fantastic on my friend’s 6 foot frame.   For those of us who are not blessed with her height, there are capri pants and tights. 

The price points are very similar to other high-end exercise clothing lines - $102 for pants and $119 for the jacket.

 The company currently only sells black clothing – which I think what most of us end up wearing 90% of the time anyway.  Would be wonderful if they could do some tights in other colors.
